If we have learned anything throughout this year, we have learned that this financial crisis is unpredictable and difficult to counteract.

There is no playbook for responding to turmoil we have never faced. We adjusted our strategy to reflect the facts of a severe market crisis, always keeping focused on our goal: to stabilize a financial system that is integral to the everyday lives of all Americans.

No Playbook? Really? Get a dictionary. It is called a contingency plan.

Yesterday, I was searching for a standalone version of Safari (for Windows XP) for a pal. Then to my surprise, not only did I find the download, but also an extremely essential Apple Support Page:

I think it's great that most software companies now automatically detect our computer's settings so they can serve and auto install our machines with the appropriate version of their software.

However, there are times when some of us need a specific version for a particular reason, for instance, to help a friend who can't download it. Thank you Apple for this useful source.
